Install Vinduro WA on your phone

This puts a Vinduro WA icon on your home screen. It opens full-screen like an app — Market, photos, Track View, The Lineup — without hunting through browser tabs.

iOS

iPhone or iPad (Safari)

Apple does not allow a one-button install from the page. You add the site from Safari’s Share menu. Takes about 30 seconds.

  1. Open this website in Safari (the compass icon). Do not use Chrome, Facebook, Instagram, or the browser inside an email app.
  2. Go to any page on the club site (this page is fine).
  3. Tap the Share button at the bottom of Safari (square with an arrow pointing up).
  4. Scroll the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen (you may need to swipe the row of icons sideways, or scroll down the list).
  5. Tap Add in the top right. Look on your home screen for the Vinduro WA icon.

Tip: If you opened a link from Facebook, Messenger, or Gmail and do not see “Add to Home Screen”, tap the menu (⋯) and choose Open in Safari, then start again from step 3.

And

Android / Samsung (Chrome)

On many Androids you can use Try one-tap install above. If nothing pops up, install from the Chrome menu:

  1. Open this website in Chrome (or Samsung Internet). Avoid Facebook / Instagram in-app browsers if you can.
  2. Tap the ⋮ three-dot menu (usually top right).
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen (wording varies by phone).
  4. Tap Install or Add to confirm.
  5. Find the Vinduro WA icon on your home screen or app drawer and open it.

Samsung Internet: Menu → Add page to → Home screen.

PC

Windows or Mac (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Open https://vindurowa.com.au in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Look in the address bar for an install / computer icon, or open the browser menu → Install Vinduro WA / Apps → Install this site as an app.
  3. Click Install. The club site opens in its own window.

Safari on Mac does not install PWAs the same way — use Chrome or Edge, or keep a bookmark.

Still stuck?

  1. Fully close the browser app (swipe it away), reopen it, then try again. On phones this is more reliable than a normal refresh.
  2. Make sure you are on vindurowa.com.au (not an old .org bookmark — .org now redirects here; reinstall from this address if a home-screen icon still looks wrong).
  3. You must be online the first time you install.
  4. Ask Ara (chat bubble on the site) or email ara@vindurowa.com.au and say which phone you use (e.g. iPhone 13, Samsung A54).

Important: Installing does not log you in automatically. Use Login once inside the app if you need member features (upload, sell, etc.).

After it is installed

Open Vinduro WA from the home-screen icon. It should fill the screen (no big browser address bar). You can still use the normal website in a browser anytime — both are the same club site.
